Who I am
I'm Austin Pilarski, a musician in Minnesota, and I founded FuzzSwap. I run a used and modified gear store out of my basement, and I've sold on Reverb.com since 2017. That's over $70,000 in sales.
Why I built this
In 2017, Reverb's CEO emailed me. He said he was excited about what I was doing and wanted to help. That energy is gone in today's investor-driven marketplaces. I wanted it back, so I built it.
What FuzzSwap believes
- People over profit.
- A middleman should be an interface, not a gatekeeper.
- Fees that go down as you sell, instead of up. They run 5% to 1%. See the fees.
- Built lean with modern tech, so the fees can stay low.
- The numbers still have to make sense. I'll be open about them.
