Show your FuzzSwap store on your own website

Put your live listings on your own site, for free. Every item links to FuzzSwap, where the buyer pays. You keep selling the way you do now, and your site becomes another door into your store.

The one rule: buying happens on FuzzSwap

This is a window into your store, not a second checkout. Each item on your site opens its FuzzSwap page in a new tab. The buyer pays there, so the sale, the payment protection and the fee all work exactly as they do for any other FuzzSwap sale. There are no offers, orders, emails or addresses in this API, and it can only read. It cannot change anything.

Find your store id

Your store id is the last part of your store page address: https://fuzzswap.com/seller/your-store-id. If you are signed in, open your account, then Listings, and the box called "Show your store on your website" has your code with the id already filled in.

Option 1: paste an embed (no code needed)

Paste this where you want your listings to appear. It works in any site builder that lets you add custom HTML, such as Squarespace, Wix, Shopify pages and WordPress. Swap YOUR-STORE-ID for your own.

The grid shows a photo, title, price and condition for each live listing, fits any width, and follows the visitor's light or dark setting. Make the height bigger if you have many items. It sets no cookies and shows no sign-in.

Options

Add these to the end of the address in src, like ?limit=6&theme=dark.

Option	What it does
limit	How many items to show, 1 to 48. Default 12.
category	Only one kind of gear. One of: pedals, guitars, amps, synths, drums, pro-audio, bass, accessories, parts, cases, dj-lighting.
theme	light, dark, or auto (the default, follows the visitor's device).

Option 2: the API (for developers)

Want your own design? Read the same data as JSON. It is free, needs no key, and only returns what is already public on FuzzSwap. Base address: https://fuzzswap.com/api/v1. Browsers on any website can call it (CORS is open for GET). Prices are in cents. Photo and listing links are full web addresses.

1. A store's live listings

GET /stores/{storeId}/listings

Only items that are for sale right now. Drafts, paused, sold and removed items never appear.

Parameter	What it does
limit	Items per page, 1 to 100. Default 24.
page	Which page, starting at 1. The answer tells you if there is a next page.
category	Same category names as the embed.
sort	newest (default), price_asc or price_desc.

2. One listing

GET /listings/{id}

The id is the last part of the listing's FuzzSwap address. You get a not found answer if the item sold or was taken down.

3. A store's profile

GET /stores/{storeId}

The public name, the month the store joined, the star rating (only from completed orders, empty until there are some), and how many items are for sale.

Links back to FuzzSwap

Every listing has a url field. Send buyers there: it is the page where they pay. The link ends in utm_source=store_api so you can see this traffic in your own analytics. Please do not remove it.

Errors

Errors are JSON with a short code and a plain message. 400 means a parameter was wrong, 404 means no such store or listing, 429 means slow down, 500 means our side broke.

Limits and caching

Up to 120 requests a minute from one internet address. Past that you get a 429 and a Retry-After header that says how many seconds to wait.
Answers are shared for about a minute, so a new listing or a sale can take a minute or two to show on your site.
Each answer has an ETag. Send it back in If-None-Match and you get a small 304 if nothing changed.
Show a live site? Cache the answer on your own server for a minute instead of calling for every visitor.
There are no keys or sign-ins, and nothing here can change a listing. The v1 in the address is there so the API can grow later without breaking your site.
